BACKGROUND

Unifying hospitality operations

Hotel Buddy emerged from the hospitality industry's need for a unified management system that could handle multiple service verticals within a single property. Traditional hotel management systems often require separate platforms for hotel operations, spa services, and restaurant management, leading to fragmented data and inefficient workflows.

Our client, a luxury hotel chain with integrated spa and dining facilities, approached us to design and develop a comprehensive solution that would streamline operations across all three business units while maintaining the specific requirements of each vertical.

PROBLEM

Fragmented systems causing operational chaos

Hotel staff were forced to juggle three separate systems, leading to data inconsistencies and delayed responses to guest requests. A guest checking into the hotel had to be re-registered for spa services, and restaurant reservations existed in a completely separate system.

We designed Hotel Buddy as a unified platform with intelligent vertical switching, allowing staff to seamlessly toggle between hotel, spa, and restaurant management while maintaining a consistent user experience and shared guest data.

The solution centered on a unified guest profile accessible across all verticals, eliminating redundant data entry and providing complete visibility into guest preferences and service history. Each vertical maintained its specialized workflows while sharing core functionality.

A real-time analytics dashboard provided comprehensive oversight of all business units with comparative analytics and trend visualization, while an integrated messaging system allowed staff to coordinate across departments seamlessly.
