Hotel Buddy emerged from the hospitality industry's need for a unified management system that could handle multiple service verticals within a single property. Traditional hotel management systems often require separate platforms for hotel operations, spa services, and restaurant management, leading to fragmented data and inefficient workflows.
Our client, a luxury hotel chain with integrated spa and dining facilities, approached us to design and develop a comprehensive solution that would streamline operations across all three business units while maintaining the specific requirements of each vertical.
Hotel staff were forced to juggle three separate systems, leading to data inconsistencies and delayed responses to guest requests. A guest checking into the hotel had to be re-registered for spa services, and restaurant reservations existed in a completely separate system.
Staff couldn't see a complete picture of guest preferences and service history across verticals, missing opportunities for personalized service and upselling.
Management spent hours daily reconciling reports from different systems, with an average of 45 minutes required just to compile daily performance metrics.
